The Get Busy Living Caregiver Award was created to recognize and celebrate the Caregiver of a young adult cancer patient, fighter or survivor who has provided an outstanding level of care and support while empowering their survivor to get busy living. This person also finds their own unique way to get busy living and exemplifies the spirit and energy of the young adult cancer movement.
Stupid Cancer has partnered with Chasing Rainbows Young Adult Cancer Advocacy for the second annual Get Busy Living Caregiver Award (GBLA). Learn more about Chasing Rainbows Young Adult Cancer Advocacy at http://chasingrainbows.ca/.
The grand prize winner will receive a $500 American Express gift card from Chasing Rainbows, and a $500 American Express gift card from Stupid Cancer.
The first and second runners-up will receive a $250 American Express gift card from Chasing Rainbows, and a $150 American Express gift card from Stupid Cancer.
Third and fourth runners-up will receive a $50 American Express gift card from Stupid Cancer.
• February 7, 2017 to March 5, 2017: Nomination period
• March 14, 2017 to March 28, 2017: Judging period
• April 29, 2017: Announcement of winners at CancerCon 2017
Nominees must be US residents over the age of 18, and is a caregiver to a young adult cancer survivor/patient, who is currently over the age of 18 and was diagnosed before the age of 40 (may be bereaved) who are registered for and will attend CancerCon 2017 to be in Denver, April, 27 through April 30, 2017.
